Pub and Restaurant in Farnham Royal, Slough

John and the team welcome you to this gorgeous historic pub right on the edge of Burnham Beeches.

We are moving on from The Crown Inn after valentines weekend, and as such will be serving a very limited menu until Sunday 8th, closed 9th and 10th, and sandwiches only from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th.

We are having leaving drinks on Saturday 14th evening, and all customers are welcome to join us.

Thank you for your custom and great times over the last 6 years.

New operators will be coming in from the 16th, so call after that date for details.

The Crown Inn on Crown Lane sits right on the borders of the beautiful Burnham Beeches preservation area on the border of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

The pub and restaurant boasts an intriguing history of over 220 years, having been used as a court house where the landlord would have to give fines to farmers who’s livestock had been found loose. The wisteria to the front of the building is almost as old as the pub itself at nearly 200 years, and is said to be the 2nd oldest in the country. It still blooms beautifully twice a year.

You could not ask for a more serene setting considering you are minutes from the M40, M4, and the Slough industrial estate, and the surrounding fields make it a perfect place to come and relax and forget about the stresses of life…even if it’s just a quick visit to the restaurant for your lunch break!

The restaurant serves excellent fresh food, great ales, wines, and cocktails, the traditional pub atmosphere, and the humongous beer garden with a kids play area, and our friendly roaming chickens, make The Crown Inn a place that everybody can enjoy. John, Tracy, and the team look forward to seeing you at the crown inn pub and restaurant soon.
